I had the same issue and would never have figured it out had I not stumbled onto another thread here where someone mentioned it. I'd never opened the Mission Editor before adding the res fix and when I did just to see what it was I was really scratching my head trying to figure out why it seemed so unworkable on my system when so many other people here talked about using it all the time.
