I am an American, but I prefer my crew to speak German... There's nothing like a little immersion to go with my sim, even if I can't understand a word of it.

But then again, in my gramophone I have wartime classics such as Celine Dion's "Power of Love" and DHT's "Listen to your Heart."

Having the sim in english ruins all immersion. Have to have them speak in german.

Definitely German voice audio with English messages. I'm sure Celine Dion can speak / read better German than I can.

What doesnt seem right. Yes, I do have a leg up on those who do not understand German let alone speak a word of it.

What they are saying in the sim is correct. But I would have to have my mom confirm the translation. (hint, hint she IS German)

Or for those who are german on these boards can confirm also.

Where can I get this software? And it works in German?

As I'm german I play in german and I'm glad that for once its the more suitable way - other games I rather like in english style

Same as you others, I'm American, but use the German voices with English text.

It took all of about 5 minutes of the default English voices for me to change to German voices...the English voices don't even have German accents, just plain US English which didn't fit on a U-boat at all.

I'm an American, but I also have SHIII set to German voices with English subtitles. I agree it adds a lot to the game. I did study German for a few years in school, so I understand it a little.

I'm German but I play the game in English. ;) I hear German all the time so it's nothing special for me, and I generally prefer English in games, even if it's a german U-Boot game. ;)
