Default Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Having given up on Deus Ex 1 and never trying #2, I can't say I'm a fan of the game(although I would like to replay 1 and try 2, I wonder if they work on Windows 7). But after watching this trailer:
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3...deus-ex/100909
I have to say I have an eye out for this game. If anything It'd make a good movie.

It ain't Deus Ex but its still a good game...

People though will still say Deus ex is the greatest game of all time. It was great but wasn't that great! After playing it again a few months back i thought it was quite crap to be honest. Didn't even bother to finish it.

Here's hoping Deus ex 3 will be "the greatest game of all time"!

Don't bother with it. It was pretty horrible compared to DE1.

I'm actually playing through DE1 at the moment. And it is indeed, if not the greatest, one of the greatest games of all time.

Soooo can't wait for 3. Hope they don't screw it up.

Sounds like i didn't miss much with DE2.

edit:
Wow, DE1 is showing its age:

I haven't played that in YEARS, but its odd how i remember thinking the graphics were top notch. Watching that vid, all the sounds i remember from the back ground music to the charging of the cattleprod to the drop of a crate. I guess i played it ALOT back in the day. lol

Very true. I really liked DE1 and thought it was one of the better FPS games out there. DE2 stynks.

I hope DE3 goes back to DE1 type of game. I had a lot of fun with DE1

The shimmery outline around key items and interactive objects in Deus Ex: Human Revolution caused a fair bit of consternation amongst Deus Ex fans the other month. Sure, it’s useful, but a big glowy yellow highlight around half the stuff in the world isn’t ideal for immersion, is it? It’s the old ‘loot glint’ argument all over again… Fortunately, the devs at Eidos Montreal appear to have listened to community feedback – you can now turn the bally thing off if you’re so inclined. Below: see what it looks like without glow-o-vision.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Is Region Locked

Awww... well, no biggie I guess. Not going to have any effect on whether or not I'll buy it at any rate.

* Aaand a backtrack: DXHR No Longer Region Locked In Europe

Yay!

Your First Look at Deus Ex Gameplay

Sweet.

Think I spotted from FPS drops, but judging from the bit of gameplay it's the 360 version.

Damnit Archlight. I had found this footage on gametrailers, and was meaning to post it, but ended up forgetting and posting in the Mafia 2 topic. But you beat me to it.

Although Here is the HD footage.
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gc-10-deus-ex/702812

I for one did not notice any frame rate dips.

I wonder if the Triangle in the name means the ps3 version will be better than the 360 version. Too many developers make ****ty ports of games for the Ps3. Like Mafia 2 which for some reason is missing 3d grass in the ps3 version. It's not that the ps3 can't handle it, just look at Uncharted 2, MGS4, and God Of war 3. Anyways I'll end this rant.
