I jump straight to an IX D2 at beginning of 1943. I can't stand early war, not much of a challenge for me anymore.
I prefer Arabian sea and straights of Madagascar. If I haven't transfered to penang on my opening patrol that usually lasts for 10 months, I would just go to the Caribbean for a bit, then back south.
