That actually does go by really fast. It's not a matter of perception, it's just you

get file compacted into one experience, and that time is lost from your perceptual timeline making the year seem shorter.

I wasn't going to say that even though it crossed my mind , but I really meant those people who do remember everything. What a burden and gift to carry that is.
