Only in SH4. With the mods it has now, it rocks! Also if you have 1.5 - the U-boats add-on, you can play full careers in the Atlantic as well.

What ruined Ops Monsoon for me was the bug where planes could see me no matter how deep I went.

The wouldn't damage me but the never left!

Edit: SHIV was not that great for me.
Even then I'm contemplating reinstalling it

Very easy to adjust in the Data/Library/AI_Visual_Sensors.dat using S3D.
Mine are set for '0' and they can't see below the surface at all. Maybe 50 feet would be better, but in the shallow North Sea I just can't see it.

SHIII seems a lot more fun now but I was wondering, has someone put the SHV keymap into SHIII?

It would make playing them both a lot easier

Aye (I've kept them neutral so I can get the U-boat close enough for comparison shots)

Also forgot the doodlebugs and the Drache and if my memory served me better, probably a few other things

Whirlybird

Forts

Doodlebug (V1)

Can you actually shoot at the fortress? Can you bring it down by using the deck gun?

Save them eels....the forts don't have damage models making them to all intents and purposes 'indestructible'.

The Type XXI is a little sluggish at slow ahead whilst on the surface but that is understandable because like all modern boats these days, she was designed to travel predominantly underwater.

Below is a list of sub types but the Type XXIII is a separate mod.

SSTypeIIA=Type IIA
SSTypeIIB=Type IIB
SSTypeIID=Type IID
SSTypeVIIB=Type VIIB
SSTypeVIIC=Type VIIC
SSTypeVIIC/41=Type VIIC
SSTypeIXB=Type IXB
Resupply Uboat=Type IXB
SSTypeIXC=Type IXC
SSTypeIXD2=Type IXD2
SSTypeXIV=Type XIV
SSTypeXXI=Type XXI
SSTypeXXIII=Type XXIII
SSBalao=Balao class
SSGato=Gato class
SClass=S class
TClass=T class
Class600=Adua class
Scuka=Shchuka class
