Those that applauded are idiots. The AZ law is FAR more restrictive on law enforcement than the FEDERAL law written by the likes of those that applauded. Laws that continue to exist because of those applauding.
And the guy they applaud? Has FAR more restrictive laws for immigration to his country than we do—and is so incompetent that literally thousands have died to drug violence on the border since January—much of the violence being done by corrupt government agents, lol. |

Funny thing is also that California's long standing law—is much the same as AZ's new law.
Congress giving a standing ovation to a guest from a POS 3d worlds country that can't even begin to keep it's on house in order insulting one of our States was, well, appalling. WTF is going on? We've gone from a system where the 2 parties disagreed on HOW to protect and serve the USA to one party being against protecting and serving the country at all. That's what happened with Calderon. He attacked a US State, and was cheered for it by elected representatives of the US. Even if any congress critters have problems with the law, their place is to attack that law while doing their jobs—not to badmouth an equal State in front of another country that is worse in every way than the US, including civil rights. |
