It is optimized for 1360x768. It will run in any widescreen resolution but you would have to make quite a few changes. I have chosen 1360x768 because it is (at least on my computer) the most stable and it allows Alt+TAB in and out of the game.

It will not work with any mod which makes changes in menu_1024_768.ini

@conus00
Perhaps when it's all finished mate you might write a readme that tells which changes are to be made for different res's. I personally run at 1920x1200 as you can see quite a difference. Maybe I should add I'd be a complete novice so if it could be in nube language it would be most appreciated mate. Thanks muchly ![]() Best regards. Fubar2Niner |

Also, there is another reason why I chose 1360x786: the game engine (according to Seeadler who created the widescreen .dll) has it's limitations based on hardcoded value for graphics (1024 pixels in most cases) and game tends to blur and jagg them a lot while stretching past 1024 pixels. Myself (even though I own 1920x1080 32" monitor) I play SH3 in 1360x768 with black stripes all around. I can blow it up to a whole screen but the game just looks too ugly. As I said there is really no easy way...
