Blame Ubisoft. It's their fault we've had two months of absolutely no communication or effort from them. Are we to simply sit here in silence till they finally release something?

12 years ago you walked into a software store and the shelves were full (and the store) of pc titles, and some console games, now you go into the same store, and its the complete reverse, the pc games are off in the corner where in mom and pop vhs rental stores the adult movies used to be kept, although, there are only about 2 dozen titles (pc that is). Gaming companies have moved where the money is , consoles, where they can design a game that works on ONE system, ONE set of specs, video card, ream, os, etc, and dont have to deal with ten to the fourth or higher variations of systems. STill the consoles need to be patched, but that happens quicker, they are the main line customers now. Try finding a decent pc game 10 years or less from now, unless something changes radically, the way of SH5 is just the tip of the iceberg of things to come.

Agree. And that in turn will impact the PC market, who needs a blazing fast system to surf and do email.

Consols also play nicely on 65" HD plasma monitors too.

But with consoles you cant mod your games.
most of the games are arcade like, and the simulators that you do get on colsole are well....... cra......ummm.... not very good.

Consoles are good for a quick game and muliplayer fun... but you cant get into em like pc games.

and my faviorte games are simulation and stratagy and thinking type games.... (my wife says boring games). Which IMO are bad on console.

By the way,

Have anyone be able to configure the Xbox 360 gamepad controller with SH5 ?

I can't get it to work at all, I would like :
  • Left stick : dive plane, rudder control
  • Right stick : periscope control
  • Left trigger : torpedo fire
  • Right trigger : canons fire
  • Left + Right shoulder : abandon ship
  • A: Lock/unlock target
  • B: Solution on TAImap
  • Y: Cook's special soup !
  • X: Exit game to install the 1.2.5 update
