Also, I would suggest that it does not constitute a very good defence to point out the poor initial state of previous SH-releases as an excuse for the poor state of SH5 at release. SH5 was released in an unfinished state, without being marketed as such = basically unacceptable. Then you have the broken string of promises concerning the (perhaps?) upcoming patch, and an unsatisfying level of communication concerning overall plans for fixing the game. Again: Basically unacceptable.
Now I do not wish to sound unreasonable, I understand that I have not bought a space shuttle or an aircraft carrier, but a $50 computer game. Of course there is a limit to the service I can expect for that kind of money, but I do not feel that I am asking too much, really. If you sell me a game that is far from finished and functioning in comparison to what it promises, you tell me. Anything else is dishonest. If you happen to sell me a game that contains errors you did not know of and thus could not tell me about at the time of purchase, you tell me if and when you are going to fix said errors. At the very least you can say: "Sorry mate, that's what you get for $50". If you postpone fixes, I want to know why. Guessing why you did not fix errors before release, or what errors you might choose to fix, and when, should not be part of the purchase. That's it. Honest communication. Doesn't have to cost a lot. |

Unless they been sitting on there asses, or got them selves in a position where it's hard to fix the issues they made and don't want to release a patch making it worse... ive had patches before making a game worse...
