Default Shifting base to Silent Hunter 5

Attention
Captain on Deck

Hey sailors,

this is probably my last post in this sub-forum.

I'm shifting base to V with all hatred in my guts to my friend who bought me a solid copy of the game (the real thing ).

I understand that experience is a bit more goofy compared to SHIV, but the idea of walking around the compartments is itching me..

I know there wont be any:

-Atlas Echolot
-Manual TDC
-Readible Recog manual with all the amenities like draft and mast bubblech..
-Techy torpedo settings for course, AoB...

But I will take the shot anyways...

The reason is that graphics and VFX are waaayy better than SHIV in my humble opinion..

I dont like the idea of point and shoot or align the timers thingy.. But I wanna feel like the true skipper..

ANd the water is waaay cooler compared to SHIV..

I'm not trying to impress or lure people into buying this Beta crapshoot...

I'm just fond of trying new things...

I will shift posting to SH5BOTA sub-forum and stay intouch with our great skippers, including Admiral8Q, Ducimus, Steiger, and all other esteemed capts..

Guys I will truly miss you..

:sal ute:
