Fubars Sub Skins

Ok a really dumb question about skins and I don't really want to make a new topic for this, how do I know a skin has been activated? I mean, I can't always tell. Is the skin that's been activated through JSGME always on for the type of sub it's meant?

Yes...provided for example, it is a skin for a Type VII and you have selected a Type VII ingame.

Is anybody else having trouble with the second one on the list, though? I've downloaded it twice and when I try to unzip it I get an error message saying it's not a valid 7z archive. The other two worked fine.

Just FYI Download 2 looks OK at this end.
Managed to unzip it fine.

I had minor problems before.
part2 and part3 only partially were downloaded, then stopped. tried again 5min later and it worked fine.

Was there supposed to be a 4th part? I have found some additional textures but I wanted to wait until you have uploaded everything you have.

The camo skins are not so much my thing, but for me, Fubars VIIC Schlickgrau 58 (contained in Pt1) was worth the download alone. I adjusted the colors somewhat to my taste (essentially making it greyer) and now my boat looks like this (SH4):

Yes I believe I made reference to four files/links in my first post.

That skin is also one of my favourites.....like so many others of his, his work being so high a standard

The community should have no problem accessing his past works now.

If you have any in addition why not post them here and we can all upgrade our collections
