The best example how they got even the VIIC tower wrong is obvious by simply looking at some of the VIIC pictures. The CT deck is too high, and this was modelled incorrectly even in SH3.

The deck railings are also wrong, as far as I can see from screen shots. Again they are linked to the hull model, and not CT. Only this time we have early war VIIC deck railings, and not late war when they had their deck guns removed.
