It wasn't an overflight, just in UK airspace the ADIZ. Can't stop them flying in it, just they should say who they are...
I can't see the big deal. Russians get to flag wave, RAF looks good. |

IIRC it was about five minutes out from Hull before it was challenged and turned back.
I don't know if we still overfly Russian airspace, I'd doubt the UK does it, but the US probably does. No big deal, just interesting to see it back to the old days. At least it should stop more cuts on the interceptor squadrons. So, thank you Medved and Putin! ![]() |
