@Bubblehead Nuke
I was more thinking about the costs.
Over here at my club you have to pay 60-135€ (81-182$) for motor planes per hour (depending on the kind of plane).

A glider will cost you 3.50€ (4.70$) for the winch start and then between 3,50 - 5 € (4.70 - 6.75$) per hour.

Yep, PPL C (private pilot licence - class c) it is for gliders and you'll need a medical clearance as well (and a rough background check at least over here...).
