I subscribe to what Steve has just posted but would add one small detail/change......

Having spoken to KL two days ago on TS my belief/understanding is that

a) The position remains unchanged.

b) With the fullest respect and consideration to KL, I doubt that this would be his sole decision anymore but more likely the collective decisions of former Grey Wolves because to all intents and purposes the Grey Wolves disbanded after the release of GWX3.0 and during the early developmental phase of a planned GWX4 release.

It is gratifying to witness the return of friends such as Privateer and BBW, especially when you see them weaving a thread or two of their old magic but, as great as this is and whilst giving all due credit and recognition to the quality of their work and skills, it is little more than that.

I don't believe we are witnessing the formation of a team of such a magnitude as that of the GWX team.

I'll be more than happy to stand corrected if this is not an accurate statement, but as I said earlier, I spoke to KL in person on voice comms two days ago and The Lair has been down due to technical gremlins since this morning so I am unaware of any changes if they have been made but I am 100% confident KL would telephone me informing me of any change.

Come to think of it, perhaps there is one concept you've not considered....could it be possible we are witnessing the formation of a totally new modding team?

I'm simply speculating now but we could be looking at the first introduction of Privateers Pirates or Big Boy Woolys Brigands.

No harm no foul.....simply responding factually and honestly.

Wondering what the first supermod will be and by whom quite frankly, intrigues me.

You know as well as the rest of us when you say you wont mod you cant resist a look at the files and then a tinker or two here and there and before you know it you have a mod

I doubt I could do anything the size and timescale of GWX again
Near on hated SH3 after and only recently loaded it back up
Only to release a mod

I enjoy going through the files
See what makes it tick
I guess fair to say only the campaign\flotilla side of things interest me although take an interest in shipping too

Have sooo resisted the urge to do anything with SH5
And believe me there are a few things in desperate need of doing

But I know sooner or later there will be a patch and the last one overwrote the campaign so no doubt next will
Plus the lack of units doesnt really inspire me to alter much
Have to say the devs have this time around had a decent look at the convoys and got them pretty much spot on bar of course make up of units
And without those no point in touching them

As soon as we see some new units appear I wont be able to resist having a go at changing things

I don't know what your talking about! I can stop anytime i want!

Honestly, That is the biggest reason i keep saying you guys will be back.... I know how it is. : And yeah i know, i've been working. In my defense, ive limited it to two items i could do with minimal effort on my part. And 1 item that hardly bares mentioning its so easy. My interest is primarly helping out a friend to lighten his workload a smidge. Everythings well documented so it makes it easier for anyone who comes in behind me after im gone.
