Based on the types of merchants included tonnage scores will be too high. The Liberty, Victory, and Cimarron were very large merchants for their time; the C-1 and C-2 were quite big too. In real life, even oceangoing convoys would sometimes have few ships over 6,000 GRT. Coastal convoys often had nothing but merchants of 500 - 2,000 GRT.

Yeah. I'm surprised at that actually since SHIV did a much better job in that regard - they didn't have "sea trucks" but they did include a few good classes of small merchant/transport ships of lower tonnage. Here the tonnage range is definitely more in the vein of SHIII's defaults or even higher. When I play, I just try to put it down to wartime over-claims.

Frederf: not sure what your particular beef is there. It's been mostly the same in the previous two SH games and frankly escort-wise, the list is pretty adequate if not in any way impressive. The merchant list however could use a bit of beefing up, and I would have rather seen more of those than battleships.

Negative, the Torpedo Bomber gotta be a Brewster Type Torpedo Bomber.

Thanks Pablo.
The planes are a Beech to look at but looking on how the Panelm lines are under the wings of said "torpedo Bomber", i figuted it had to be the Brewster type.

Would love to hear from the responsible creators if i am right tho... looking at the "catalina" gives me the heebyjeebies.

"Heavy Bomber” – a cross between a Boeing B-17 "Flying Fortress" and a Consolidated B-24D"

Dont tell me this means the 2 bombers are merged into one plane in 3-d right?
