Still have my old eggsbocks somewhere in a box in a closet. Haven't plugged it in for years.

My 360 is one of the originals. It only boots correctly after showing the E71 error first. Second or third attempt it still boots.

About a year ago my PS3 stopped reading BR disks but would read DVDs. I checked around and found that it was probably just dust on the lens. So I took it apart (warranty had already expired) and cleaned the lens. Been 100% since then.

I hate the way the Xbox live service infiltrates and inundates my 360. It annoys me so much that I have disconnected it from the network.

The PS3 at least allows you the option of stopping the PSN feeds being shown on the screen.

I have a PC upstairs with is our media server and have copied all our music CDs onto it as well as some DVDs and recorded TV shows and photographs. I love it because when family was visiting (they live overseas) we could use our TV as a photo viewer, music center, etc etc.

Also, I very rarely go online to play because of all the childlike behaviour, rudeness, racism, etc etc. I find the xbox live user base to be worse than the PSN userbase.

And when the PS3 is running it is quiet unlike the 360 which sounds like a shuttle launch.
