Hmm, lemme see, 20 Megabytes, what files can I remove to free that much space...

It's very simple.

You buy the car. Ubisoft keeps control of the keys.

Sigh, I remember when DEC came out with one of the first commercial hard drives (1981, I think). It held 5 MB and cost about $5,000. I remember thinking to myself 5 MB? There is no way an individual would ever need to save 5 MB of data.

Lets just hope that SH5 will install without similar usability bugs. Medieval 2 would only let me choose the drive I wanted to install on AFTER it checked and confirmed that the preselected drive (C) had enough free space. So no 10 GB free space on C, no install (even though D might have 500 GB free).

I barely managed to make enough room on C to install Medieval 2 back then. I wonder what I would do to free aditional 5 Gig on my C drive if SH5 had similar jokes up its sleves. ... Maybe delete Office ...

Then again, I've got enough time to set up a new system before there will maybe be an Online-Fix for the game. And given current disk prices anything below 80 GB would be a waste of money. With just Windows and a few Office applications on there this should be fine for any installer ****up then.

Funny the only thing on my pc that is enough for this monster is the ram memory. Though i believe it should run ok with anti alaising off. Fingers cross

Though you are right that HDD arent expensive but add these to all other stuff that could use and update and you end up with quite a bill

Have you ever used a DVD with more than 5 gigs? If so, then it's a dual layer.
Or, just look at the DVD drive to see if it has a Super Multi icon (2 vertical disks) on the left:

I suspect you're right Ducimus, the greatly expanded interaction with the crew probably means there will be arseloads of dialog files.

Thanks.
Mine just says "DVD Multi Player" (like this). No other markings. I've no idea whether any of my DVDs have more than 5Gb on them. Hmm... does anyone know whether SH5 will be released on Steam?

I wonder how this will affect the requirement for constant connection?

I just noticed the ESRB rating for SH5. Comic Mischief.

I always knew there was something missing from SH3 and know I know.
