The Devs are the heroes of this kaffafle. They not only create great games, but are the only ones showing good will from the Ubi side. They have been on the forefront doing good PR for Ubi.

Meanwhile, the people who should be busy to douse the present firestorm are hiding behind OSP/DRM.

As the anger level of customers rises, the amazing incompetence of Ubi PR and marketing departments is pulling Ubi toward the abyss.

Once again, I salute the Devs

Yes agreed, the work and the blood, sweat and tears the devs team have undoubtebly been putting into this project has been pushed to the back of our minds lately. This latest situation has not been their doing. Respect to the guys on the dev team. Your work, dedication and commitment is appreciated ..

I'll applaud the devs when the game is out.

I'm with Dowly on this...whilst I appreciate their assurance that SH5 will be very open to modding, I can only judge the game on what UBI have officially released so far...

I still luvs ya Dan....and the rest of the team to a slightly lesser extent (never had a cuddle of em yet)

I hope we can all keep one realisation in mind regarding whatever SHV turns out to be at the time of release......it is the men in suits at Ubi who will make the definitive decision/dictate the content, not the devs.

He who pays the piper calls the tune.

Again I feel for the devs I'm pretty sure that if they had a choice a less draconian measure of copy protection would be used.

Still I do appreciate their work.

To Ubisoft Romania,

I've said it before and I'll say it again; thank you very much for all the hard work on the Silent Hunter series. Pay no attention to the doubters, "You can't please all the people all of the time."

Please differ, ok? Yes, they are doing good work so far - beside the buggy releases. BUT with ubi as employer, there are the wrong decisions made and the hard work fades away...and the doubt stays.

Devs, never forget: bad publicity is still publicity.

I can't wait to play your awesome game.

My wife isn't quite as thrilled.
