New SH4 user...what patches/mods to start?

I'll try to get better in visual AoB using the AoB training in the excellent Solution Solver App. Does anyone know whether more shiptypes could be implemented into the training program?

i had originally intended to add more models to the 3D periscope view (user selectable through the popup menu).

but decided against it because the size of the program would have grown exponentially. 70-80% of the file size of the solution solver app's .exe file is graphics related info embedded into it.
