GWX without 1.4 patch

You are correct and answered as such in #5.....1.4 and 1.4b are the same but a typo makes it read out as '1.3'

@ Kimmers: If it won't let you patch it at all, it's likely a newer version that comes already patched. This version also lets you play without the disc in the drive.

As was said, look at the lower right-hand corner of the loading screen. If it says '1.4' you're good to go.
