so is there any info on what the promotion, medals and badges criteria are?
can you be promoted higher than kapitänleutnant? |

Not in GWX3. Yes in stock game. As far as the others supermods are concerned i don't know.
If you open the Basic.cfg file (i think) hopefully you will find the the answers there. I'm sorry but i'm too tired to list the details.

Promotions (and whether you keep them) is based on your current renown.
I think you need 25.000 to get Lt. Cmdr. If you spend big renown on new boats, equipment, and crew, this can keep you getting passed over for promotion. |

Sounds like some extra mod messing things up. GWX promotes you to Oberleutnant after your very first patrol, every time.

I'm no expert at this sort of thing, but the only one I can think would possibly have an affect on rank would be WB's Renown Replacemant. I don't know exactly what it does, but promotions are partly based on renown.
