Hi Haz. From what you have posted, the CPU running at the temps stated is a concern to me.

I understand AMD runs hotter than Intel but, every where I read reviews on AMD newer CPU they always recommend to use different, Heatsink and Bigger fan.

There's alot of fans in the $25.00-$40.00 range out there to cool that cpu down a bit.

Good luck and happy playing on your new rig.

Haz shows the temp in fahrenheit and not celsius. 93 in fahrenehit is around 33 celsius. That is good at idle. I run x4 9850's and idle temp is around 30C.

@ AVG Yes his temps aren't bad looking at his later post.

I have just a step up from the standard fan and heatsink. Basically cost about $5.00 more than standard. I do not recall the name. I will see if I can find it.

EDIT:

Here is a picture. I forget the make. It was like 18.00 for all.

Yes I use stock fan heatsink the heatsink has heatpipes big old thing, have 6 120mm fans in case, got to admit this case is built solid and easy to work with.plays flight sim x on settings of 50% no problem, but in my opinion the sim needs alot of fixes,to old and lazy to tweek it all day.lol, plays empire total war max setting no problem at all, best of all plays sh4 maxed out with mods, without even working very hard, beats my old intel 6550 cpu to blank, never another dell this is way to go.build it yourself its not very hard.oh yeah joint operations is super fast but then again that game has more cheats runiing around then probly any other.lol
