Thanks for the welcome. Yea, took a long time to get here. Shame on me.

Yea, I remember the documentary on that. No one was giving any credit to the torpedo carrying bi-planes. The brass thought it was a novelty. Well those bi-planes ended up breaking that rudder and it was all over after that. Imagine the commander of the Bismark:
"What do you mean we can only go around in circles!!!! Fix the bloody thing!!"
"We can't sir, we have to get back into port for that."
"And how am I supposed to do that if I can only go around in circles!!"

Shame really. Though lucky for the allies.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the Musashi and the Yamoto were the largest battleships ever built. Did you know that the company that made the cannon's for those ships, is the only company right now that can make once piece vessels for nuclear reactors and that they have orders for years and years with more on the way. They figured out how to a way to forge such a huge cylinder and no one else has been able to. The founders grandson (If I remember right) still makes Katana's the same way it was passed down to them for hundreds of years. See:

On a different note, about the game. I'm on a patrol around Japan. I've already gone back to port once to refit for more torps, but I still haven't completed my mission. About how many times do I need to patrol the same water before my mission is done?
