The ability of your gunners is gauged by their stamina/experience etc. just like stock/vanilla.

The real difference is in the aircraft, in GWX3.0 they are able to take more damage than those in stock/vanilla.

Before I went to GWX I got a couple of kills on them. After installing, even though I've only fired at 2 Swordfish when I was trying to save Bismarck, it seemed to be entirely futile. Is this because of the damage value you mention or is my aim that bad?

It could be either or a combination of both.

How bad a shot are you?

Well, not bad, being an FPS guy on some days. The plane was filling my sight and then some. I think I was hitting. Then again, recoil does some weird things.

I had the same problem. i was hitting the plane dead on, i could see the spark on its nose, but it didnt get destroyed.

GWX 3.

Is there a way to revert back to vanilla planes but keep the rest of the mod?
