I'm thinking it's a common mistake... because no one really reads the instructions included in the setup. Odds are now you have a DATA folder in your DATA folder, too.

I believe the fix is to uninstall the mods using JSGME, delete the extra DATA folder, move the MODS folder to the base install path, uninstall then reinstall JSGME to the proper folder.

Much obliged. Got it to work with Environment 5 and TM 1.7. Everything looks very good except for the muzzle flash and hit explosion, they look like '99 graphics, also there is no chase camera .
