Default 2 playable sides... is hooked gamers pulling my leg?

from the hooked gamers article i quote

Historic battles

If you were disappointed that you could only play on the Allied side in Silent Hunter 4, you will be happy to learn that this is remedied in Silent Hunter 5. Regardless of the side you play for, the game is easy to get into.

They dont give sufcient details on what exactly can be played . I wonder what they mean!

I think they mean this

"the game is easy to get into. Ubisoft is making the game playable for both beginners and genre veterans by implementing two different modes."

But this here made me confused too
" Regardless of the side you play for" for me it means whatever you play as allied or the axis.

I'll find out when I have purchased the game

They only reference SH4 here, no mention of SH3. So my take on it is this. In SH4 you played the Americans, with SH5 you will be playing the Germans. To me they came across like playing the Americans was a bad thing, a problem that needed a remedy. But hey I could be wrong, maybe we'll get those Brit boats after all!

It includes axidental results.

Axidental operations are those performed by Kriegsmarine dentists.

that doesnt mean that you can play both sides. Its stating that since you played allied in SH4, you now play axis in SH5.

As i understand it one can play both sides in SH5. Looks like we get mediterrainien and Atlantic in one package, finally.

Maybe it only means "side" of simulation or arcade mode is easy to get into...
Even if it sounds like both allied and axis side cold be implemented but I don`t think so.
