Couple seconds before he was machine guned. So obviosly he got killed. And then shooting the dead guy don't you find it weird also ?

Actually, the kamikaze pilot killed himself with a grenade in order to avoid capture, that video showing him machine gunned is edited.

Or, at least, that's what I heard last time I saw that footage, I can't see how a submachine gun would make such a big splash too.

How do you know he was a kamikadzee pilot ? Maybe he was a sailor from Japaneese ship ? This video is not all about kamikadzees if you payed attention.

Because last time I saw that footage they also said it was a kamikaze pilot (I don't remember exactly where it was, but I'm quite sure it's this one).

Shooting survivors did happen a lot on both sides, but this case seems rather bogus.

Who are THEY ? Maybe they said something they had not had a clue themselves what they talking about.

Correct, shooting survivors happened in both sides.
The cause I'm pushing this discussion further is that I feel that some people don't want to take this fact for real as they see something like that. Why ?

Well, since what I recall doesn't count, It's still easy to disprove it (Even though I can't prove he is a kamikaze pilot, but that's irrelevant).

The video shows 1, possibly 2 (If one considers how the water looks before the hit), big blasts, while fire from a submachine gun as seen would have made many smaller splashes. The color of the water and the ambiance in the parts before/after and during the submachine gun footage is clearly different, also the direction in which the shooter fires compared to the camera is completely wrong compared to the footage where you see the gun supposedly hitting the man.
