Latest AP story on Yahoo:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090815/...u_missing_ship

Quote:
Hours later, French Marines spokesman Capt. Jerome Baroe said the signals in question had come from Russian warships that were heading from the Mediterranean to the Baltic Sea. Those ships apparently are different from the vessels that the Russian Navy dispatched this week to search for the Arctic Sea.

I sense the beginning of the next Agatha Christie novel.

Now the Russkies say they've found her and got the crew off.
But there's a lot they're not saying, and strange things that they are, why would they put that the crew are not under armed guard? What's happened to the ship and its cargo?
Early days perhaps, but still a lot of unanswered questions.

Finnish news confirm that the NBI has received confirmation from the Russians that they've found the ship.
