The missing cargo ship Arctic Sea that is being hunted by Russian warships reported a second attack by 'pirates' near Portugal, according to official sources.

European Commission maritime officials told The Daily Telegraph that following its first attack in Swedish waters, a second set of radio messages was received from the Maltese-flagged merchant ship after the vessel had passed through the English Channel at the end of last month.

"Radio calls were apparently received from the ship which had supposedly been under attack twice, the first time off the Swedish coast and then off the Portuguese coast," said a Commission transport official.

Financial Times Deutchland claims that the ship has been spotted near Kap Verde. A lot of speculation as to what the cargo might be. Honestly, this is like a real time James Bond - novel, in the media.

What are the odds of this missing ship and Hillary Clinton being spotted in the same space?

Got to be a connection there somewhere, uh?

Perhaps it came to pick her up ...

Video: Lost ship reportedly spotted near Cape Verde IslandsRT

Washington Post
Clinton stayed overnight in Cape Verde

SANTA MARIA, Cape Verde, Aug. 14 -- Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton wrapped up her seven-nation tour of Africa on Friday with a brief stop in this palm-dotted island nation, which the U.S. government has hailed as an African success story.

How is it we can get a robot to Mars in 5 months. Have it land safely with balloons wrapped around it. Said robot emerges and has been active for what, 2 years or more? This was done twice!!!!!! Yet, we can not find a darn ship in the ocean!

I'm one of them who thinks that we should invest more on Earth, before we head out to other planets.

Besides, understanding as much as possible about the life on Earth will possibly help us understand what to look for on other planets. Who knows what lies on some deep ocean floor or in a rainforest that nobody has been to that could turn everything we know and hold as the basis of life upside down.

Ow and sorry for the off topic thingy dingy.

Interesting. Really amazing in an odd way and scaring if piracy really has found its way up to Northern Europe. The strategy will have to be changed and improved. Maybe the pirates hoped to turn the focus of the world off of the Horn of Africa...
