I have rechecked the mod to make sure it is working properly as I cant see what you
are saying in your P.M’s

The following screens shown are from a new carrier started as a test but is should work at any point
I went to the up-grade screen and selected the IXD2 this is what I got..

I then went to the crew management screen to see this ..

Which I change to this

I then started the patrol to see this

Called the gun crews up to see this

Went to the crew management screen to see this

The IXD2 looks like its working fine to me although i didn't take her out to sea.
If this is not working for you as it should are you sure you are not placing another basic file over the top of the mod

Edit....... if you add this mod mid carrer then select another sub then re select the IXD2 and it will change to the new version
