Battle Class Subs
 
SeaWolf Battle Subs (VIIC/42 & IX Classes)

The mod places the VIIC/4 Turm on the VIIC/42 and all the IX Classes.
Again just for the fun of it.
Just unpack in to your mods folder and enable using JSGME.

What kind of problems? You have to write the capcatscha correct and answer 4 (simple) questions correct.
You're not obligated to be a member to download Seawolf U57s mods, but still you're welcome to do so.

IXD2 battle Sub
 
I did not include the IXD2 in the version of the mod
I have had 1 person asking about it .....the deck gun would have to be moved to a
new location which is not a problem its just finding the best place for it. http://www.silenthuntermods.com/foru...old[1].gif

Version 2 is up for download with the IXD2 also having the tower :salute:

I have rechecked the mod to make sure it is working properly as I cant see what you
are saying in your P.M’s

The following screens shown are from a new carrier started as a test but is should work at any point
I went to the up-grade screen and selected the IXD2 this is what I got..

I then went to the crew management screen to see this ..

The IXD2 looks like its working fine to me although i didn't take her out to sea.
If this is not working for you as it should are you sure you are not placing another basic file over the top of the mod :salute:

Edit....... if you add this mod mid carrer then select another sub then re select the IXD2 and it will change to the new version

Speed
 
With your speed boost setting at 1.6 for the IXC40 I am booking at 28 knots on the surface. Will this use all my fuel or how do I turn the speed down?
Also do you know if anyone is going to make a skin mod to cover the u flak tower?

Reduce the setting back down to say 1.4

copy the hull TGA then rename to type 7 (placing both version back in to the folder) :salute:

I have an open hatch mod that conflicts with your game on JSGME, do you have any ides on how I can make the 2 of them work together? I can send you the mod link if needed.It is DD's open hatch mod version 2.

Ok im not quite sure what you mean by conflict still.

If you mean you have a warning about overwrite of files
That is not a problem just go ahead and enable it.

If you mean how you lose a couple of the colours that are in my version
Then the hatch would have to be added to my version or the coloured items
To this one (not a five minuet job) and not worth it.

If you mean that the camera view changes to the GWX version of being right up the
Bridge officers nose then delete the library folder of the mod.

If you are running GWX then the last phrase will mean nothing to you

If you wanted a different sub version used in the IXD2 then go to the main
Silent hunter folder and open the data file then the submarine folder and then the IXD2 folder
then open the main text Cfg file look for the line containing NSS_Uboat21 change the 21 to 7 for the VIIC version 9 for the IX version and so on

What it boils down to is if you want the open hatch then use the mod
If you want my version then don’t run it.
