No entrapment would be if they had no choice but to do the deed or if there was an obvious invitation to do the crime.

In England it is only entrapment if the police provide "extraordinary
opportunity" to commit crime. A car parked in a road is an opportunity for crime, but not entrapment. A car parked in a road with the keys left in the door is an extraordinary opportunity for crime, and thus entrapment.

Bloody good idea. There should be more of it. I agree with Neal. Unless you suggest to someone "Hey see that car over there? Go steal it" it shouldn't be entrapment.
If you left my keys in the door or ignition an some basum stole it, it would still be theft. |

Entrapment, according to US law, does NOT apply here. Specifically:
