Fraps settings ?

I suggest getting Xfire, it saves video too with no restriction of duration and it has it's own video encoder, from a video of 1 GB the output is a .mp4 video of 25 mb, then after encoding it is uploaded to your own X-fire profile

It's always a trade-off between quality and size. FRAPS makes excellent quality vids, almost "lossless", but with that comes a huge size. It's an excellent choice if you're going to edit the vid before publishing it. XFire, Gamecam, Taksi and such allow one to compress the vid so it's smaller, but you'll lose some quality in the process.

I just have troubles with Fraps and rez fix. Without rez fix in SH3 it works well, but with rez fix it hangs up the game.
