An FAA-operated VOR navigation beacon, named amusingly after this area, is located about seven miles (12 km) southeast of the creek. Crazy Woman VOR's FAA three-letter station designator is CZI.

Can't you just herar the controller asking a pilot to report Crazy Woman?

Or a pilot unfamiliar with the approach seeing only CZI and hearing control directing them "direct to crazy women, descend and maintain for approach" :rotfl:

Founder must of played dwarf fortress, cause that is exactly the type of name that often comes up in the Random fortress name generator.

That town is about 50 miles from where I live in Washington.

How about Boring, Oregon
There is also Bend, Oregon (there is a local prison joke with that name being used; but I wont say it here!)
