SH3 is still going strong and getting better everyday.

There are a great many mods out there and more
released nearly everyday!

If you want an awesome WWII experience get SHIII and install GWX 3. I also recommend SHIV with the UBM add-on so you can run TMO 1.7. With these two sims set up like that you'll be hunting merchies forever!

It is also a great way to truly see the differences between the U-Boats and fleetboats.

Thanks for the welcome. Thats good to hear because I can get SHIII cheap. I would not have thought five years later it would still be going strong. My taste in games seems to be turning towards the WWII era whether it be flightsims FPS or subsmarine.

Are there any online communities that coop or head to head this sim?

With the current modders busy at work there has never been a better time to get stuck in to a WWII sub-sim.

I just bought a brand new copy of SH III for six dollars US plus shipping. Hard to beat that. I have a buddy i used to play 688 with who is interested as well...will it work on 64 bit vista?
