I must say that Shogun Total War was the best for me as it introduced me to this game series.
also for some reason no other Total War game has surpassed its music quality the songs used in Shogun are just brilliant  the cutscenes where a very nice add, like the room where you received Traders and Enemy/friendly diplomats was nice. HunterICX
