Curiously, though, I read elsewhere on subsim that GWX does not deduct from 100% at all if you are using nav map updates. Also, I understand that the sonar lines (showing appx. range) remain visible if map updates is on. These lines are a huge help to me. Maybe some of you GWX experts can confirm this. I am running just over 50% on my first career, but intend to learn how to play at 100%. |

Please do not ressurect what should not be ressurected. Necromancy is frowned upon in most societies.
On the other hand, this is just another thread for me to spam on ![]() I "cheat" by making certain options worth more realism percentages. I do this to use external camera for eye-candy. I don't use it to scout out or anything, so why should I lose renown for it?

Actually if you play at 100% realism the AI is harder, I think.
Oh, you also get full renown. :p @ Fulton: Map updates don't have any realism penalties in GWX. I play with that and solution assistance on. I could probably do halfway alright doing solutions 100% manually, but without map updates I would tear my face off.
