I changed the file to receive 200 for patrolling 24 hours
 . It's cheating, I know, but it's an effective way for forcing me to actually go to my patrol area.  To compensate, I set a house rule not to spend renown if spending will cause a demotion. So basically after each promotion I start with zero renown.
