Ummm yes was one of Mikhayls lil mods

Quote:
"Realistic" contacts for SH3 - November 16 2008

This mod removes all the contact icons on the navmap (warships, merchants, convoys, task forces, aircrafts, submarines). For distant contact reports all you will have is the radio message with the Grid + speed + heading. For nearby contact reports it will be somewhat similar to real life RDF contacts: the time compression drop will indicate a "radio contact" but you will have no way to know where it comes from and where the ship is heading.

The aim is to simulate the "fuzzyness" of real life contact reports which couldn't be as accurate as in SH3 due to the means of navigations used by then. Most likely it will make you miss merchants and convoys interceptions. This will compensate for the high number of contact reports in SH3 and maybe result in more "historical" patrol results.

Install:

You have the choice between "Realistic contacts" which will remove the player sub icon,
and "Realistic contacts with Sub icons" which keeps the player sub icon and will show any submarine contact on the map.

Select your favourite option, unzip it into your SH3/MODS/ folder and enable it using JSGME.

Use and redistribute as you like.

Will upload if you cant find the release thread mate

Sounds interesting, do you have a link to it? Search seems to hate me at the moment.

The no medals may cause issues with the Crew with the New 16k mod.
:hmm:
Not sure if that was updated for the New 16k Mod.
Master OLC could answer that issue better.

LifeBoats mod is cool but you should get the Rowers also.
Adds just a bit more to that mod.

I have had some "crew" strangeness...officers can't move to a compartment..."That compartment is destroyed", when, in fact, the compartment is 100% and never touched by damage. PO's and enlisted have no problem moving to the same compartment? HMMmmm?

I will get the rowers...just put it below the lifeboat mod?? Gotta link?
