I like both. SH4 had a less polished feel to it, but that's compared to SH3 with GWX. I'm anxiously awaiting their work on SH4.

I prefer Spatlese, und Auslese to California Zynfandels.

Growing up in a Navy home and family, I got bothsides Atlantic and Pacific. I like SH4, as it's more widesreen friendly. Still can't get SH3 to run right in widescreen. Everytime I try one of the tweaks, the game crashes. So even though I may want to take a spin in the Atlantic, it looks weird at 1024 x 768 on a 28 inch widescreen that runs at 1920 x 1200. The Jap planes being easier to shoot down? Lets see, no self sealing fuel tanks, no pilot / crew protection, and lots of tracer rounds .

Actually I never liked the planes in either game as the big multiengine planes dive on you like Vals and Stuks, and turn like Spitfires and Zeros. Watching a Betty or a Mavis dive like a Val? Should be watching the wings rip off the things in the power dive. Same thing for the Sunderland and B-24.

SH4 was OK in my book.... BUT I still prefer SH3 vanilla to compare apples to apples (and with GWX there is NO comparison).. The reason why 1) SH4 "boat on a rail" ...no realistic rocking, boat comes 3/4 out of the water in High waves..etc etc... 2) I kept getting the same missions over and over and over and over... got old real quick. and this was with all patches applied 3) AI was incredibly stupid (Destroyer AI that is). The Destroyers would hardly EVER try and hunt me after I hit a convoy... at least SH3 vanilla they did.

I stopped playing SH4 looooong ago and removed from my HDD.... but SH3 with GWX lives on and I would guess a hole is wearing in the disk area where it resides due to me playing it so much.

I am not sure what you mean? 67.6 miles north of me is Mansfield, OH....
Anyhow, how the heck, I make GWX 3.0 move 67.6 miles on the southern course? :rotfl:

If a bear farts in the forest... and there's no one around to smell it... does it still make a stink?
