Read was extremely fun. Implications, though old news, were chilling.
All it goes to prove: there is nothing people will not believe.  I think I may have stumbled upon the First Law of Conspiracy: The number of believers in a particular conspiracy theory is directly proportional to the length of the scientific explanation. If they don't want to hear how something happened, they'll go ahead and formulate their own explanations, and before you know it... Okay, I'll shut up, or else the Men in Black are going to come for me soon.

Actually...I suspect that some of those conspiracy theories were started by government officials hoping to have a laugh. Hey, at least that means the government is doing something effectively.
