I like "Wolfpack," an Osprey publishing book. It's the book with a picture of a type XXIII on the front. Lots of info on uboats, sensors, torpedoes, uboat bases, and uboat crews.
I think it goes hand-in-hand with SH3.
The only thing I find missing it the ASW war against uboats.
