It's easy to think that JSGME = Silent Hunter mod utility.

However while throwing "JSGME" around the forums so much, i think many forget what the letters mean. Jones Soft Generic Mod Enabler.

With a couple exceptions (like the "Complete" mods for Stalker), I use JSGME on just about every game im running a mod with, including elder scroll games like Skyrim.

I understand the generic part.I just figured it most likely will not work with an older sim such as CFS II, since most of the readmes are dated as recent as many of the SH 4 mod readmes and not mention of JSGME is made, sure would be nice though.Seems I fouled up replacing some files(vague readme) gave me the wrong idea, now have to start over.

Might get some help with CFS2 here-these guys are still updating a lot of things for the old sim, including updating older campaigns with new models and scenery.

JSGME can work with anything that involves moving files to folders as it is basically
an automated copy & paste tool.

Just figure out the directory structure in the vanilla game and re-create what you need in your JSGME mod folder. Should work fine with 99.9996% of the games out there--even old DOS games.
