Fallout is great. Yes, even Fallout 3 (I suppose I can say it in this forum without being stoned to death). But I think it was actually better that Fallout 3 came so long after Fallout 2 and was made by different people. Do people not like Fallout 3? Wow, it's one of my favourites and I've been playing crpgs since they were text only back at the start of the eighties - before I ever even played a real pen and paper RPG in fact.

Another cliche that doesn't apply to Fallout: The ridiculous use of traps. Every house owner in the world seem to have read the book "Traps and You: how to make the life of your family much more exciting." I mean it must be terribly inconvenient to live in a house where you have to disarm 10 traps just to take a leak.
And how wolves living in a cave can come up with elaborate trap systems and locked doors is totally beyond me.

Lol, yeah. The Neverwinter Nights games were awful for that.
