That is my wristwatch right there, and it is so old school it is a WIND UP, but I have replaced the strap once or twice. |

I hate men's jewelry as much as men's cologne. The only jewelry I wear is a watch. I tried going with only my cell phone for a while but there are too many times when I am sitting in a class or at a table where digging into my pocket is a pain.
My daily watch, when motorcycle riding and around the house on days off; cheap, reliable, and not flashy, Timex Expedition Resin Case Camper Nylon Strap Watch ![]() My new work watch, which I wear at the hotel, the Danish Skagen 233XLTMB Titanium Watch. Thin, subtle, and a great value. ![]() I have a few other interesting watches, including one of the first Fossil watches, and a whole slew of the USSR Navy & Submarine watches. Those things were like wearing a brick strapped to my wrist ![]()

simple is always better:
http://www.cwcwatch.com/g10-watch-nondate.htm what I normally use - very strong strap/pin fixing... was tired of catching the automatic (see below) on stuff and having the strap break. but battery is dead so I bough a cheap casio for the mean time (haha) http://www.casio.co.uk/products/Watc...ES/At_a_glance http://www.casio.co.uk/controls/thum...&ProductId=362 I do like the idea of the solar power/radio time update Gshock watches http://www.g-shock.co.uk/products/or...W-M5600BC-1ER/ not too gaudy like some. Perhaps it could be the last word in practical wrist watches? Not sure about the 'negative display' though, they used to do one with the ordinary 'digital display' thing. I have an old citizen automatic but it doesn't keep time very well - it lost several minutes a month. Nice watch all the same though.

Citizen's new Eco-Drive solar powered watches are great. Haven't lost a second in the 18 months I've had mine.

My watch is just a simple Timex Indiglo cr 2016 cell watch. Just white face, metal expansion strap, hands, numbers, and knob. Even though it was fairly inexpensive, I've always been impressed with just how accurately it keeps time (it only looses a couple of seconds every 6 months or so).

How do you know if this new watch is on your wrist up-side-down ?
I much prefer my Seiko, but I have a drawer full of Swatches for everyday use. ![]()

![]() Swatches!! Wow, I remember those. And how about that period of time when the "moon phase" watches were popular?

Since 9 years, mine:
![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us Usually I would not spend any money on jewelry (beside my glasses and watch I have none), nor would I spend that much money on a watch, but this one I saw and immediately fell in love with, due to the design and the irresistable combination of midnight-blue, gold, and titan-grey. The sub-dials was not what I was after. Back then I waited several weeks and looked and looked at it in the windows time and again, before finally unlocking the money. It lacks 1-2 seconds every 2 months.
