I got Illustrious as she left Gib once. Just happened to be patrolling in the strait of gibraltar when I hear all these warships heading my way. After changing my underwear I took a quick peek with the periscope and was surprised to see that nice fat prize in the perfect position for a shot Decided to make doubly sure and fired all my forward tubes at her.

After all my patrols, I've yet to sink a single BB Biggest ship I've sunk is a Aux. Cruiser.

HMS Hood followed by HMS Nelson on the same patrol, 22 hours later. Was in a good area for intercepting two passing task forces:

Quote:
4.1.40. 0611 Grid AN 11 Ship sunk! HMS Hood (HMS Hood), 48360 tons. Crew: 1412. Crew lost: 1299
5.1.40. 0419 Grid AN 15 Ship sunk! HMS Nelson (HMS Nelson), 36000 tons. Crew: 1638. Crew lost: 1015
HMS Rodney:
Quote:
14.10.40. 2346 Grid AK 28 Ship sunk! HMS Rodney (HMS Rodney), 36000 tons
For some reason commander stopped adding the crew and cargo details to my patrol logs by the time I found Rodney in a convoy.
