Notable ships you have sunk?

What ships of note (famous merchants or Cruisers or better Military) have one of your captains taken to the bottom?

HMS Rodney and HMS Newcastle - Rodney in the counterattack on Norway, the the Newcastle was in a convoy I blundered into.
HMS Hood - Died soon after in my crazy port attack, snuck into Ewe, didn't make it out.
HMS Ramillies - my only notable kill on a attack on a task-force, hit it at 10,000 meters in a stormy night.

Rodney, Revenge and a few Brit fleet carriers. It is so lovely to see a large proud ship wallowing helplessly and know you are responsible for it.

I got Illustrious as she left Gib once. Just happened to be patrolling in the strait of gibraltar when I hear all these warships heading my way. After changing my underwear I took a quick peek with the periscope and was surprised to see that nice fat prize in the perfect position for a shot  Decided to make doubly sure and fired all my forward tubes at her.

Nelson and revenge, both in convoys in 1940 i think.

A Bogue escort carrier on 4th July. One in the eye for Uncle Sam!

A tanker, thinking it was Revenge :D

Revenge class BB. Only major capital ship I have ever sunk.

After all my patrols, I've yet to sink a single BB:damn: Biggest ship I've sunk is a Aux. Cruiser.

HMS Hood followed by HMS Nelson on the same patrol, 22 hours later. Was in a good area for intercepting two passing task forces:

4.1.40. 0611 Grid AN 11 Ship sunk! HMS Hood (HMS Hood), 48360 tons. Crew: 1412. Crew lost: 1299
5.1.40. 0419 Grid AN 15 Ship sunk! HMS Nelson (HMS Nelson), 36000 tons. Crew: 1638. Crew lost: 1015
HMS Rodney:

For some reason commander stopped adding the crew and cargo details to my patrol logs by the time I found Rodney in a convoy.

Several British battleships, 4-5 Bogue carriers, RMS Queen Elizabeth, RMS Laconia, assorted Troop ships. You know, the usual stuff.:03:

My own U-Boat. Think about it. The entire world ceases to exist if you and your boat are destroyed. Quite notable if you ask me. :hmmm:

The Renown class battleship, Illustrious class carrier, etc... Those are probably the largest. Other than the Rodney, and another warship whose name escapes me, I don't believe I've seen any named vessels. I should get out more... and sink them.
