In all seriousness, I've been taught various versions of the "grab and rip" for use in self-defense but I can't imagine actually ripping one OFF a guy's body if he's fully clothed. Difficult to even get a good all-around grip on anything through clothing, it's mostly supposed to cause maximum discomfort, not remove the goods from the premises.
Maybe the guys pants were already halfway down to his knees making the big grab easier.

I'm gonna go with Kurtz's take on it after another reading and just assume the guy was already down to his undies when this took place.

Otherwise I don't see how she could've pulled it off. So to speak.

Whenever I read anything about a man getting his junk maimed or hurt or anything like that I immediately grip my crotch to try and protect it.

Also... whenever I see a pair of bolt cutters...

I have an odd habit of imagining it being used on my junk and start freaking out.

I shouldn't worry, the whole thread is just a load of bollocks anyway

I understand that when things started to get really ugly she pointed out the extreme vulnerability of his circumstances and offered him the chance to surrender.

In retrospect, his reply of "Nuts!" turned out to be less impressive than he'd hoped.
